Jessica McLain is top producing Realtor® with JEMS Team-RE/Max 100 and founder of both JEMS Team and beFORe SALE, a home staging business located in Southern Maryland. Jessica is a lifelong Maryland resident who grew up in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, a rapidly growing area of Prince George’s County located in the suburbs of Washington, DC. After high school, she moved to Anne Arundel County near Annapolis before moving to Calvert County where she currently lives.
Jessica has extensive experience in the real estate industry. She began her Maryland real estate career fresh out of college by working as an Executive Assistant to the President of a successful Maryland commercial real estate agency. While in that position she assisted in the development and opening of a new real estate company in Annapolis, Maryland. That new firm became the most productive real estate brokerage company in Annapolis in only 3 years. After taking time off to start a family Jessica returned to Maryland real estate as an assistant to a top Nationwide Realtor® where she provided marketing and home staging consulting services to the agents in his office.
After becoming a licensed Maryland Real Estate agent, Jessica joined O’Brien Realty located in Prince Frederick, Maryland. In 2005 while working at O’Brien, she founded The JEMS Team and teamed up with her long-time friend and fellow Southern Maryland Real Estate Agent Jennifer Spinelli. It was at this time that she also formed beFORe SALE, a Maryland home staging company offering FREE staging and pre-sale assistance to clients BEFORE the marketing and SALE of the property.
Since the formation of “JEMS”, Jessica has had continuing success as a Southern Maryland Realtor®. JEMS Team sales reached one million during their first year of business, four million their second year, and doubling to eight million their third. Despite being a distressed economy, in 2009, JEMS was awarded the honor of “Top Producers in Calvert County.” Jessica joined RE/Max 100 recently awarded by J.D. Power & Associates “Overall Highest Satisfaction for Home Buyers & Home Sellers Among National Full Service Real Estate Firms” with offices in Dunkirk, California, Charlotte Hall and White Plains, Maryland.
